Commission A Legislator Inad Luciawati Encourages More Optimal Public Services

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission A Legislator, Inad Luciawati supports the Jakarta Government's commitment in improving the public services.

"Innovation is needed to give the best services that are faster, easier, and more efficient,"

In order to see the progress on community service satisfaction, she stated that it is also very important to periodically evaluate the performance of the state civil apparatus (ASN) in various public service offices.

"They need to evaluate the performance in previous years. Have they reached the target or not? If not, it must be improved," she expressed.

She also encouraged ASN to be more innovative in providing services to the community. The ASNs must keep evaluating their performances and look for new ways to improve the service quality.

"One of them is by utilizing the information technology. ASN must be proactive in finding solutions to problems faced by residents. Innovation is needed to give the best services that are faster, easier, and more efficient," she explained.

She wanted the public aspirations and needs to be listened to and followed up well. Because it will show the presence of the government in solving various community problems.

"They are the people we must accommodate and fight for their aspirations and needs. Give a solutive policy," she asserted.

Previously, Central Jakarta Mayor, Arifin reminded ASNs in Menteng Sub-district to improve their performance in serving the public.

According to him, ASNs must always be mindful and realize that they are present to serve, not to be served by the community.
